Cosworth is a global leader in performance related data acquisition systems. Producing professional data logging and performance analysis solutions for motorsport and sailing applications. Professional sailing applications require the ability to monitor the stresses and loads present within the carbon fibre structures of the yacht, plus accurately measure the position and movement of the main structural elements.
Bluefruit were approached to integrate several Ethernet based sensors into Cosworth’s real-time data acquisition platform.
Project outcome:
- Added ability to log TCP/IP and UDP data streams to Cosworth data acquisition systems.
- Enabled professional sailing users to record strain measurements alongside other performance sailing data.
