We’re all feeling very festive at Bluefruit HQ (you may be able to tell by the pictures), so we thought we’d have a look back at 2014 – not only for the memories, but to remind ourselves of the incredible growth we’ve achieved in the space of twelve short months.
In July this year, we went through a complete rebrand; changing our name from Absolute Software to Bluefruit Software, and having our website undergo a complete overhaul! As well as this, we’ve been involved with numerous events throughout the year (such as Agile on the Beach, our BDD training week and the dBs Code Summer School), celebrated the 50% growth of our team, and launched our first coding competition where programmers can win Google Glass.
We’ve also spent a lot of time putting together blogs to provide insights into our Agile-inspired working practices and company ethos.
Some of our most popular topics this year include Waterfall vs Agile working methods, Pair Programming, Fail-safe Testing Methods, Feedback Loops and What is Quality Code?. We have plenty more ideas in the pipeline, as we are constantly learning new technologies and processes to share.
We’ve had a great year; and what better way to celebrate than by overindulging on roast dinners and figgy pudding!
Have a great Christmas everyone, and we’ll see you in 2015!
